The buses and street bans needed to be done. Shutting down he underground portion of the subways was not, nor had it EVER been done in a snowstorm.Irene and Sandy were completely different situations because of flooding threats that were not present with this storm. I suspect Cuomo is going to be warned to never do it again unless it's a Sandy/Irene-type situation by Wall Street and key donors or face severe unintended consequences if he does it again. David Faber on CNBC blasted Cuomo earlier on this and I'm sure many more will be. |
