Nothing the zookeeper could do for it seemed to help the poor fellow. Hippopotamuses after all cannot scratch their ears. So in desperation the zookeeper amputated he hippo's ear.Shortly after that the gnu died. So the zookeeper took the ear from the gnu and grafted it onto the hippopotamus. The procedure was successful, and the first thing the zopokeeper said to his hippopotamus was "Hippo Gnu Ear!" ROAR |
