Yeah, I remember those "Patterson Green" interiors also as a young child when riding the R-10's on the "A". There is an image taken by Doug Grotjahn of the interior of car #1848 (later renumbered as #2995 in 1970) in James Greller's book "New York City Subway Cars (R-1 to R-160)"in that paint scheme. R-6-1 museum car #1300 is currently painted inside in the darker green style these days.-William A. Padron ["a.c.f."] |
