In the late 1950s and early 1960s many cars of all types including BMT steels, R-1/9s, R-10s and Lo-Vs received a solid green interior paint scheme often referred to as “Patterson Green” after the NYCTA chairman at the time. I even recall seeing a few Multis in that color just prior to their scrapping. |
