Why aren't people flocking to Queens right now on weekends to take advantage of city ticket?

Many are and local Little Neck, Douglaston and Bayside residents are complaining. It's not a flood because most commuters use monthly or weekly tickets. Also, zone 3 rush hour service is anemic.

$2.50 is too low if you ask me.

Guiliani proclaimed one fare one city, when he abolished the SI Ferry fare and inaugurated bus/subway Metrocard transfers. It has pluses and minuses. However, it's going to very difficult to turn back the clock.

City ticket is $4.
