That "tiny" part of the population that CAN'T ride Saturday afternoon because of Shabbos politically is very loud in a lot of ways. That is why I do one Saturday night run on December 13 to accommodate those who observe Shabbos and are not allowed to ride on trains in the daytime on Saturdays AND mainly to accommodate those who can't go on Sunday due to the NFL as Fantasy Football has become THAT big.I don't think you realize how big a business Fantasy Football has become. Most leagues are in their playoffs starting as early as this week (as most want to wrap up by Week 16 to avoid a bunch of meaningless games in Week 17), and some of those leagues have people making well into six figures. It's not like even five years ago now. |
