If I recall, the only thing that Asians found offensive about the “Yellow” line in that case, was that it went through a predominantly Asian neighborhood. I’m sure if it went anywhere else, they couldn’t care less. There is a Yellow Line in Chicago which is the Skokie Swift and here in NY, the N and R Lines which use yellow signage pass through the now predominantly Asian Sunset Pk neighborhood in Bkln and I haven’t heard any of the locals complain. |
