Besides a tunnel, high enough, the project would also have to have millions to create a yard(s) on the NY side of the river to unload those containers.The Bay Ridge NIMBYs are already conplaining & this is only about the tunnel. Space wise I don't think they have enough room for an unloading facility at the river yard, and elsewhere on Long Island they are going to have a problem (with space) too. |
