Makes sense. There are economies of scale in operating a really big system.The amount I pay has more to do with fact I own a corner lot then how many are connected to the system. Water where I live is not metered, we pay based partly on property frontage footage, (number of feet of the mains on 2 sides of my lot). John in the sand box of Maryland's eastern shore. |
