I do think most of the the R32's should be retained once the R179's arrive, however you cascade equipment. Spread them around various car barns and use only rush hours.I figure a diverted Q to SAS will eat up 4 train set sets or 40 cars. Back filling the Astoria Q with a neo-W means 10 more train sets or 100 cars. Send 20 R46 or R68 to SIR to reduce R44 usage to just rush hours means need for another 26 cars on the main line. But the TA over scraps and gets ruthless with every car procurement, So I am sure they will shoot themselves in the ass and do it again. |
