IMO they need to do all that they can (add buses, replace the antiquated signals, encourage flexible work hours, etc) but in the end the trains will still be crowded and for the foreseeable future they'll only get worse. Long term the only real solution would be to spread jobs out more evenly around the city because in reality the trains aren't all packed. Reverse commute trains can be pretty empty. |
