Ah you confuse Bloor-Danforth (Subway completely built out in the 1960's era) with the new Eglington Crosstown, a new currently under construction tunnel (mostly) for basically streetcars, running on North American gauge tracks.

Bloor Danforth is Toronto gauge.

I was unsure of SRT's gauge.
