Speaking of the Big Dig, the contractor is supposedly from New England. They were apparently drilling a well (dewatering?).More likely a monitoring well. As in well use to monitor the water table level in ground adjacent to an excavation or tunneling project. Monitoring well adjacent to the tunnels between the Tysons Corner and Greensboro stations. It is pretty obvious to me the drillers drilled in the wrong place, the location they were instructed to drill was wrong or they drilled deeper then they were instructed to drill.
