If you have seen my posts on this subject over the years, you would know that the extension down Pitkin Av was supposed to coexist with the connection to the Liberty Av portion of the Fulton El. The model board at Euclid bears this out. As originally planned, the Liberty Av el was supposed to stand alone and go only to Lefferts. The continuation of the Pitkin Av subway was to have connected to the LIRR ROW via a portal in the area of old Aqueduct station. Contract books I have seen about the connection also bear this out.
