I don't believe that's a good idea, even if it did speed up the trains. Rather than being able to double-back at 36 St or 62 St-New Utrecht Av for D and N service, those locations would be at Broadway-Lafayette St or Atlantic-Pacific respectively. As Mike stated in another post, that N via Brighton, D via Culver idea would require riders to spend more time either backtracking or transferring to other lines to get to their destinations. |
