Some of the best places to catch the Lo-Vs above ground:Jackson Avenue Simpson Street West Farms Square (south end of northbound platform) West Farms Square (north end of southbound platform) The nice thing about Simpson Street is that if you have a powerful enough optical zoom, you can also catch shots of 6 trains on the curve north of the Whitlock Avenue station. Though the only (minor) drawback to these stations is that few of them have a place to cross to the other side once the train passes. One would have to take the following train to Intervale Avenue or West Farms Square, then take a Manhattan-bound train from there. |
