CA, just as NY has the build it here mandate--why Kawasaki is in Tarrytown, M-K (RIP) leased a factory space in P'burg (no h) CA, and Breda was dangling the "we'll build a local plant" agit prop trying to get another order from LAMTA. Happily, they were smart enough to choose a better builder. Anyone remember how long it took Breda to make their stuff work on the T while the Kinkis there soldiered on? |
