Another good point-- I imagine lots of deer run around the ROW as they probably don't have too many other places to go in a densely populated area. One could easily acquire some deer ticks and their associated bites.

I was also thinking-- no one mentioned the giant spider that was hanging there for so many years. I wouldn't have wanted to mess with THAT!
