I rode on a 6-car R-27/30 JJ in March of 1968 from Elderts Lane to 168th and back. There was a recital at FKLHS and I managed to persuade my parents to let me take in a subway ride. They agreed (I was 11 at the time) and so I missed the first half of the recital. I tried to talk my mother into letting me do it again, but she put the kebosh on that. |
