If I understand it correctly, probably one of the old entranceways of the abandoned south (west) mezzanine. If you know what the BMT in-building entrance arch looks like, you'd recognize it on Kenmare St. The stairs to the subway have been cemented over long ago, and businesses have been occupying the spaces behind the arches since then. |
