Yes, I remember that happening on the #1 train, meaning that the time spent during the repair was wasted because the repairs had to be done over! This was even covered in the New York city edition of Newsday!

I may not be saying it correctly but isn't there a set of dimensions, a standard defined "train envelope" of measurements - that's supposed to be used - to determine that all of the standard trains can actually RUN on the tracks, tunnnels and structures?
