In the summer of '66 we saw the Mamas and Papas (with Jill, not Michelle) at Forest Hills. The opening act was Simon and Garfunkle (!), local boys who had attended Forest Hills High School a few years earlier.A couple of years later S&G were the headliners, and they introduced "Bridge Over Troubled Water" there. I recall that the seats were benches with no backs. |
