It actually is simple, though perhaps not inexpensive. Board an NJ Transit or Metro North train at Penn Station New York and take it to a station Amtrak serves. As long as it isn't rush hour, it should be doable. People drag all manner of luggage on LIRR trains to and from Jamaica. If one isn't willing to be inconvenienced even temporarily, the nonsense will continue. Voting with one's feet is effective. |
