Posted by Gold_12th on Sat Sep 20 11:33:49 2014 An apparently drunken man was struck and killed by a Bronx 6 train Friday after he stumbled and fell onto the tracks, police sources said.The unidentified victim was at the Longwood Ave. station platform near Southern Blvd. in Longwood at about 8:40 p.m. when he landed on the tracks — directly into the path of an oncoming 6 train. He died at the scene. Witnesses told police that the man appeared intoxicated when he tumbled onto the railway bed.
