Tuscarora Almanac - September 20, 2002 - The Book of Last Runs

The last trains operate over the Greenwood Lake Division between Hoboken and Montclair.

New Jersey Transit discontinues service on the portion of the Boonton Line between West End (PM2.2) and Montclair / Walnut Street (MP12.1). This section of track was formerly the Greenwood Lake Division of the Erie Railroad. The following stations are closed Arlington (MP7.0), Rowe Street/ Bloomfield (MP 9.9) and Benson Street / Montclair (MP 9.9). The last train to stop at Arlington was No. 1061 at 9:59 PM. The last train to stop at Rowe Street and Benson Street was No. 1015 at 11:33 and 11:36 PM respectively.

The last timetable to show the old alignment was Form R 0030 effective August 3, 2002.

The first timetable to show the new routing was Form 0030 effective September 29, 2002. The route
was now referred to as the "Montclair - Boonton Line.

Thanks to Victor M and The Silence for the correct date.
