How could a "flimsy woods structure with two tracks and an island platform" handle special event operations??? Crush loads? Maximum platform occupancy?? This was the freaking WORLDS FAIR!!! YOU would seriously build a "flimsy woods structure with two tracks and an island platform" to handle probably a respectable portion of the 44 million people who visited the fair over its two operating seasons????? And you wonder why you have absolutely no respect for your supposed professional abilities. Great find.No it's not. It's already been posted here before. And as MANY people noted, it is included in book(s) and on NYCSubway.org. |
