Boy ... looks like even back then, with nazi spies afoot, towers and interlocking machines were top secret. :(But I DID find these which are contract drawings for the work and given where the spur came out of, any special interlocking for the event on a temporary basis in addition to the yard work might not really have been all that much after all. It was apparently a sub-board at the Jamaica yard tower ... Here's the interlocking work: ![]() Wish it actually showed switches and lever numbers, but that's all there appears to be (indicator changes) And this would have been what fed the lights for the model board: ![]() So my guess is that they definitely had to add a model board, but if they had enough levers already reserved on the Jamaica yard machine, the few things they needed to add to the control might have been available on the existing machine ... |
