This pic was taken six weeks after the F-Line opened on September 1, 1995, returning PCCs and trams to San Francisco's main street.

We're on Milan "Peter Witt" 1834, and PCC 1057 (Cincinnati is approaching 11th Street. With the fisheye, one can see the tracks into 11th, used for turnbacks.

"Non parlate al Guidatore e che deve essere distratto dalla Manovra" loosely translates to "Information Gladly Given But Safety Requiers Avoiding Unnecessary Conversation", a phrase seen on the front of every Muni transit vehicle.
