What are the operating capabilities of those two trains? Are they able to make it up the inclines at both ends of the tunnel. Would be a big embarrassment if they couldn't and got stuck in the tunnels. Also should they break down in the tunnel, that would mess up the operating schedules.I agree with your sentiment that BMT not IND equipment should be used, there maybe other considerations in play here. |
