They weren't Steinways b standard low numbered Lo-Vs in the 4500 series although I don't have the exact numbers. They had modified door controls that allowed for selective operation of the doors so that only the center door opened at So/Fy and all doors opened at Bwlg Grn When the Lo-Vs were retired a small dedicated fleet of R-12s was similarly equipped. In earlier days, I recall seeing a 2 car train of deck roof Hi-Vs on the shuttle since with their manual doors, they could have only the center door opened at So?Fy and all doors opened at Bwlg Grn. |
