Some stations like Metropolitan Ave on the M line would have to be lengthened significantly to hold ten 67-foot cars. Metro can currently platform only eight 60-foot cars. And of course, there would be union issues with running trains longer than 600 feet anyway. So don't count on 10-car trains of 67-footers. That's a non-starter. |
