There are a few real popular ones, Victorville California, Goodyear Arizona, the one in Nevada I think does mostly military....Sometimes, when economics change mothballed a/c are brought back to service, the desert storage is best for that. Sadly, most of them eventually get parted out and broken up, the aviation version of "reefing" |
