Posted by Gold_12th on Wed Aug 20 21:35:46 2014 Object/Purpose of ProjectThe purpose of this project is to continue the cyclical State of Good Repair (SGR) replacement of station lighting systems including the existing lighting fixtures, conduits, cables and electric service at several station platforms/canopies. This project is to be coordinated with station improvement projects, past and future, to ensure that efforts are not duplicated. Units/Locations/Limits Various locations. Priority locations identified for replacement include the following stations: East New York, Locust Manor, Centre Avenue, East Rockaway, and Bellerose. Summary Work includes installing new outdoor type lighting fixtures and associated equipment including upgrading the existing electrical service. The budget for this project is $5.00 million.
