In a perfect world, the MTA/CDOT plan was for NY State equiptment (blue side stripe) & CDOT equiptment (red side stripe) to be in dedicated train sets. Also, the Center door shoreliner cars & the first generation Bomb cars (end doors only) were also to be dedicated train sets.Rarely, it worked out that way. But so be it. The customer wants a reliable train with working a/c or heat & a non nauseating bathroom that gets me to work...& back home. They could care less about the side coloring. |
