They are indeed cleared to run on the Meadowlands service, but they are assigned to the Hoboken Division fleet assignments, primarily MNR's West Of Hudson services, the Pascack Valley Line and Main/Bergen/Port Jervis Line. They rarely show up on the Newark Division, which makes up the NEC, NJCL, Raritan Valley and Atlantic City Line.
