If you expect media link elaborating on MLV's and AEM7's and their weight and tractive effort, you're nuts.From a friend I know "Here’s a comment from a well-placed source. Tried to drag it in with an AEM-7 that was in standby service. A loaded train of multi-level cars (1,000 riders) equates to almost 100 tons of flesh plus the weight of the train itself. It was more weight than the AEM-7 could start on the grade. Had to back into the tunnel to get a running start." |
