I knew I'd get some flak from the purists on this group. I knew the date of changeover from Conrali to M-N was December 31, 1982, but that wasn't the point of this little exercise. See, I was inspired by the bunting on the bridge, And as I was drifting off to sleep last night, the idea of paraphrasing the poem grew traction (no pun intended, as Chappaqua wis still non-electric territory then). In the morning, I looked up the poem, made the changes and voilą! :) |
