I wasn't aware of the special. That means that the train I rode might have been the first regular train after all. The TA had service notices in the cars and on the stations indicating the time the first train to Lefferts would leave 207 St. I entered at my home station 168 St and let what i figured should have been the foist train go by since it was signed for Euclid. When the next train came through, I figured I had better board it and go to Euclid to find out what was going on. When I got to Euclid, I discovered that through service was not being run but that Lefferts service was being provided by shuttles. I boarded the shuttle that was there and rode it to Lefferts where I saw a group of railfans holding placards reading "First train to Lefferts" and other similar words. That being the case, I'm not sure if those railfans were on the special or the first train that ran all the way from Euclid. What angered me was the misinformation on the poster that indicated that through service would be operating from 207 St when in fact that was not the case. Had the TA posted accurate information, I would have unquestioningly been on the first shuttle from Euclid.
