But that's still no good for R train customers in Queens and Brooklyn. Often the Coney Island bound N train comes bunched up after 1am, so that you get 2 trains back-to-back after waiting close to 40 minutes for a train. Then you just miss a connecting R shuttle in Brooklyn.Why can the #3 train get late night shuttle service to a major hub like 34th St, but the R train can't get to a major hub and instead gets cut back to either 36th or 59th? Let the late night R terminate at Atlantic, Court, or Whitehall (obviously Whitehall once the tunnel opens). Well the complaints will keep coming and coming and coming until this happens. (I have no problem tying up the MTA phone line with my commuting problems with the late night service.) |
