I was curious. I was a summer Chicagoan at my Granddads all through the 50s so I remember the deal made to cut crew not service. Later when I was dating a girl from college I would see her to her front door then walk back to the L in Evanston for the slog to JP and a ride on the 27 to get home. Lonely trains in Owl Hours. |
