The only thing remotely modern was the seats... and I promise you they were nothing like Comet Is. Square windows, storm doors that would wedge half open, and negative shock absorbers (I'm pretty sure they amplified bumps). The weird wood panel in the middle of the car. The single column of lights that would blink out for minutes at a time. No PA. View of the track below through holes a baseball could roll through. |
