What's interesting is that just last Friday, the New York Transit Museum's Facebook page posted this photo of a rollsign and on the comments, it's said that they hope to have the surviving R40 pair, 4280-81 (ex, 4380-81), worked on this summer.Someone's also willing to donate an original R40 rollsign as well. Would be amazing to see this in person. |
