Some of Chicago's Green Hornets were clocked at 47 mph, which was entirely possible. Prior to the PCCs, the term, "fast streetcar" was an oxymoron.When I rode those ex-CTA 6000's on SEPTA's Norristown Line, they did very well between stations. Bill Newkirk |
