Looking at Google maps, I see a double track main on the north side, a partly occupied spur for the ethanol plant 250 ft south and a diagonal connecting track. The pictures show e/b tank and w/b grain strings next to each other on the double track, tanks on the south track and grain on the north track. I assume the collision occurred there and the burning oil flowed south across the connecting track to the spur. The grain train DPU units were photographed standing eastward on the north track by ValleyNewsLive. Classic wrong place at the worst time collision, both trains might have actually been in motion at the moment of derailment??
