Much double track was reduced to single track.Construction cost was $13 million per mile (450 mil/34 miles). That included the cost of a dozen studies over the previous 25 years. The billion dollar figure was for a ten-year DBOM. The ten years of operation and maintenance wasn't free. But you knew that, of course. You're just being a jerk. |
