The QBs that you are referring to were the post Chrystie QBs that ran as rush hour only specials. Prior to Chrystie, the Brighton lcls that ran through the tunnel when Brighton exps operated carried QT signs and when the Brighton exps stopped running, the Brighton lcls ran vial the bridge and displayed QB signs. The Brighton lcls ran to Astoria 24/7 and during rush hours were supplemented by West End (T) expresses on the Astoria branch.
