..? No, not what I meant. What I mean is, if it's four sets of larger doors that take an extra second to close, that's an extra second someone can grab it. Versus five sets of fast small doors which close before people realize "oh the doors are *actually closing* now". Of course neither approach prevents people who grab the door to ask a stupid question or hear an announcement, or to hold the train for someone running down the stairs. If they don't know what they're doing they should figure it out on the platform, if the doors have started closing people should accept that they have missed their train.

Admittedly I stated two seemingly opposite ideas in this thread. Earlier I suggested a single leaf door because it would be hard to grab (despite having more time before it closed). But it would increase average dwell time due to the longer time it would take to close.
