On the other side of the fare control was a very old wall (don't know if it was original or not, but it had ancient tile on it.Probably not original, since there were stairways behind it, but possibly dating as far back as the IND construction, since the connecting stairs were built relative to the wall (as opposed to an indent in the wall, for example). |
