Before the Chrystie St cut was made, Bway Bkln Lcls crossed over to the middle west (RR north at the time) of Essex. After the cut was built circa 1965, the switch to the middle was removed west of the station and Bway Bkln lcls had to be carefully spotted for the new Essex tower so that they could be crossed to the middle east (RR south) of the station to access Canal middle. |
