When you look at the number of trains on the Port Jervis line today, it's a testament to the housing development up there in the last generation.I have in laws who live in Campbell Hall.......it was desolate up there when they moved in.........not any more. Bill: While I welcome the increase in train service I dread the day that they ever bring the trains across the Hudson. The developers will come in and cut down every tree and pave over any patch of grass. There are still some wonderfully rural sections in Orange County. In fact Campbell Hall comes to mind. I always use to tell people that it was located in the middle of a cow pasture and I wasn't far wrong. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
